This page allows you to see the number and types of complaints filed through the Internet-based WebTrak system as well as the automated phone line system. The shapes on the map represent zip codes and are color coded (see legend) on the basis of the number of complaints received from that area. These statistics will be updated regularly as data becomes available.
The information you provide when filing a complaint directly contributes to these statistics. The system relies on users to provide as much information as possible about helicopter disturbances. This data is not only reflected in the statistics displayed on this site, but will be forwarded to a review committee, made up of residents and helicopter operators, who will be working together to identify ways to address helicopter noise concerns.
